The transformation of recycled plastic to supply new human needs through production processes (circular economy) is undoubtedly a solid approach that allows us to extend the life of the element that pollutes our water sources. The use of recycled plastic and its transformation into new products is the ultimate purpose of Granzaplast, helping to mitigate sea pollution through the redistribution of plastic in a long-life utility, in the words of its creator "we contribute to reducing the environmental crisis caused by high levels of plastic pollution"

Ecotourism has as its main objective to carry out recreational activities in direct contact with nature, but it also seeks to improve the well-being of its communities and promote the care of flora and fauna. Colombia is recognized worldwide for having one of the largest biodiversities in the world, according to Colombia's Biodiversity Information System (SIB), the country has about 56,343 species registered. Colombia has the greatest number of birds and orchids in the world and the second country with the highest number of plants, amphibians, and butterflies, therefore, it has great potential to develop this business responsibly.
However, ecological tourism must meet many more objectives such as giving value to natural resources, contributing to the preservation of the place, educating tourists and communities so that no environmental damage is generated.
REFUGIO VIDA NATIVA joins this initiative being the pioneer in the municipality of Firavitova promoting ecotourism, environmental conservation, and native heritage
Italener is a company dedicated to the commercialization of energy as its business core. In 2016, the mills of the Italcol company began to measure energy performance, placing different meters in different processes and measuring them to generate efficiency indicators. "A goal was set for this energy performance indicator and targets were set to reduce them year by year. From 2016 to 2020 we achieved from an average consumption of 36 kWh/Ton to 20 kWh/Ton with a quite strong reduction in performance" said William Correa.
Today, this energy efficiency framework receives 201 sources of daily measurement from all the operations that are monitored and the results are delivered to adjust the efficiency to meet the goals indicators. For 2018, in addition to this Program, renewable energies were ventured into livestock production operations, and reaching production of 780 installed was achieved and 226 kW have been added to date with 6 new projects that reached 2.2 megawatts installed peaks in 2020 in photovoltaic solar systems. "Our vision is to reach 7 megawatts installed in 2024 and an additional project to generate energy with a micro-hydroelectric plant from the use of water, biogas, and biomass that originates from livestock operations."

Evo has created three community outreach programs to address the inequality globally and within their communities, through their Giving-Back Program, the Community Engagement Council, and the Volunteer Program. Each program has tackled inequality (SDG #10) and the opportunity gap that underprivileged communities face daily (SDG #11).

This great story begins more than 6 years ago where, through a visit to the largest energy monitoring center in the country, Juan Pablo observes that 90% of the energy consumption information was not used, information that could be used to be able to reach people and generate a great message of awareness of energy consumption, reviewing the above was able to identify that a large part of energy-saving and waste depends on people's habits and discovered that through identifying consumption habits a more efficient use of energy and non-renewable resources can be generated; an idea that was maturing for 5 years while he was working as an engineering professor at a prestigious university in the country.
In 2016, the first monitoring center of the company begins where there are now more than 41 people working to promote this great message of sustainability to both people and companies. His inspiration is given in believing that to empower the entire society, the current vision of caring for the environment must be broadened, empowering people to create the future we want. "The best technology is the will of the human being."

The average American adult eats about 2,000 pounds of food each year; however, most people have no idea where their food actually comes from. Although technology has dramatically improved overall productivity, farming is still vulnerable to natural disasters and policy shifts. Thanks to global trade, we can always find decent alternatives with the lowest extra costs. However, small farmers are not that lucky since their livelihood can be destroyed overnight. Also, the small farmers usually have little pricing power and can seldom achieve the selling price they want.
Founded in 1986, Equal Exchange innovated a new model of business, aiming to improve the living standard of the small farmers who sustain the food supply. Equal Exchange gives small farmers significant control over their business and educates consumers about how their purchases (of fairly traded products) could benefit the farmers. In the past three decades, this model has achieved commendable success, and more companies are joining the act of helping small farmers.
Sanofi has made a committed to society and, in order to face the challenges posed by society worldwide, they have launched a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
The global CSR strategy is focused on four pillars of action: access to medicines, support for vulnerable communities, preservation of the environment and inclusion and diversity of its employees.
Taking this into account they have taken actions to bring medicine to communities that don't have access to them at no cost. With the creation of its non-profit unit, Sanofi Global Health, they aim to provide access to essential medicines for people of the world's 40 poorest countries. Another big change they have made is that they have changed the way the interviews work and decided to employ people that can add diversity and innovation to the workplace. All of these goals are trying to contribute to the achievement of the targets from SDG#3 - Good Health and Well-Being.
