Helping to Build it Green

Inspiration

Ulises Treviño, founder of BEA, said he saw the negative impact of millions of building constructions and decided to start a sustainable company that promotes and enables other businesses to have sustainable buildings.

His objective is: To facilitate sustainability goals and provide a one-of-a-kind service for their customers.

Overall impact

BEA has 27 projects LEED certified.

With green building, the potential reduction of resources is: 50% of electric energy consumption, 70% of solid waste, 39% of CO2 emissions, and 40% of drinking water.

By their characteristics, projects from BEA have impact on the follow sustainable development goals:

  • Good health and well-being.
  • Clean water and sanitation.
  • Affordable and clean energy.
  • Sustainable cities and communities.
  • Climate action.
  • Industry, innovation, and infrastructure.

Business benefit

In addition to the reduction of the ecological impact in the building, from its conception until end of useful life, having a green building has other benefits.

  • It reduces the cost of the usage of the building.
  • It provides a positive environment that helps persons to perform better.
  • It provides a healthier environment that helps persons to be healthier.

Social and environmental benefit

The environmental benefit is very clear, by reducing the usage of resources, green buildings reduce the impact of buildings on the environment. In addition, since the materials used have almost no toxicity, they also have properties that enable proper humidity control. Persons working or living in these buildings tend to be healthier. They even promote the consumption of natural and balanced foods. Also, they promote a balanced lifestyle.
