Money Mova is a platform that gives the Caribbean a heavier influence and presence in online transactions. General users of this online platform, Money Mova, range from mid-teens to middle-aged adults, those most likely to have web proficiency. This is a common user age range for many online market sites such as Amazon and eBay, although it is currently the only site of its kind that operates in this geographical area. Sites such as Amazon, Etsy, or eBay, while accessible, do not have a proper banking gateway to allow full user transaction abilities. Money Mova works directly with the banking systems to ensure full transactions are processed and completed. Money Mova’s mission is to empower the people within the Caribbean markets, inspire them to flourish as entrepreneurs, and expand their local stores into an online presence. Money Mova aims to spread the Caribbean culture and their products throughout the world, while helping to generate more revenue circulating in the country. This therefore contributes to building infrastructure and economic prosperity for impoverished people in the Caribbean like that of Money Mova’s home base, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Textbooks for Change was co-founded by Chris Janssen and Tom Hartford in 2014 after Janssen saw a need for newer textbooks, instead of the photocopied, outdated copies used in the East African school he was teaching at. Janssen began repurposing books collected at Canadian universities that would end up in landfills and extended the life of these textbooks by putting them into the hands of students who are less fortunate. One of the key quotes from the interview that defined their innovation was that “[they] are repurposing books that would normally find their way into a waste cycle, and extending their life by sending them over to universities in East Africa”. This embodies the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Michael Proulx’s consulting company, Anagnorisis, aims to answers these questions and in doing so encourages companies to positively impact lives in the communities that they operate in. He wants his clients to positively impact over a million lives, to earn themselves the title “Social Millionaires.”
Hearing Choices utilises a multi-dimensional trade model, in which strategic partnerships are an essential component. In order to enable customers to access discounted and reasonably-priced hearing aids, Hearing Choices relies on the honesty and integrity of audiologist partners/suppliers. When a consumer acquires Hearing Aids through Hearing Choices, they will be able to access the stock retained by Hearing Choices “8-10 [local] suppliers” (audiologists) at a lower rate and thus obtain “price points” which are “much cheaper “and more competitive “than the rest of the market”.
Essentially, Hearing Choices has the ability to access identical stock (hearing aids) and then distribute these products at lower prices, due to the design and functionality of their evolving eco-system. Thus, the innovation is prevalent in the customer experience and output price.
