Where Biotechnology Meets Sustainability

Inspiration

We chose to interview Winclove Probiotics because we think it is a great and inspiring company. We already visited Winclove once with our school, where we toured the company. During that visit, we saw how they work, how friendly the people were, and how much attention they give to health and sustainability. This made a strong impression on us.

At Winclove, we noticed that they don’t just make probiotics. They also really want to contribute to a healthier and fairer world. They think about the future and about how they can make a positive impact. This aligns very well with the SDGs we are working on for our project.

Because we had already visited the company, we wanted to learn even more. It felt like Winclove is a company that doesn’t just talk about sustainability, they actually take action. We found that very inspiring. That is why we chose to interview them: to learn more about their ideas, how they work, and how they try to make the world a better place.

By taking into consideration the company's overall social responsibility towards sustainable living, they again address there consumers by advising them to opt for water rather than dairy, there overall focus on resource optimization, such as water management, biodiversity, etc., to make its overall presence in society meaningful while contributing significantly towards improving overall health for society while significantly decreasing its impact on nature.
