The company has developed and tested a resource-saving technology for organizing water supply and water disposal in the housing and utility sector, which includes effective cleaning and partial reuse of domestic wastewater.
The priority for the company is the development and implementation of membrane technologies for industrial water treatment, ensuring the production of high-purity water by non-reagent (environmentally friendly) methods.
The company also actively develops and uses classic industrial water treatment technologies: reagent treatment, clarifying filtration, ion exchange (including UPCORE), coagulation, adsorption, decarbonization, settling, flotation.
The business specializes in managing water waste and has multiple innovations in this sphere. Reducing the overall waste and making the waste less polluted are the key points.
Methods of water production include:
-microfiltration
- ultrafiltration
-nanofiltration
-reverse osmosis
-continuous electrode ionization of water
The company carries out both its own research in the field of innovative methods of water treatment and research within the framework of targeted state and international programs. Among the company's employees there are about twenty doctors and candidates of science. More than ten RF patents were obtained by the company's employees for a unique industrial water treatment system.
There are even sewage treatment plants that can treat highly contaminated liquid waste that flows from factories directly into rivers and soil. Thus, purified water contributes to the greening of the environment and the gradual purification of water bodies.
Since the company not only sells, but also independently develops innovations, there are both small and large cleaning devices. On the small side, the company offers, for example, cleaning plates that are built into the pipe under the sink. In addition, separate pipes are built into residential buildings, and during the supply of water, dirt and unnecessary waste are washed out through separate pipes to a further treatment site, and clean and already purified water is sent directly to apartments and people's houses through the water supply.
Among the large cleaning devices, there are large mechanisms that pass water through themselves and purify it inside this very mechanism. These purifiers are really big, so they are usually installed in factories and work not to supply water to the factory, but to purify the water that is discharged from the factory.
Water is a fundamental human need and we all are aware of it. Nevertheless, the world is still battling the problem. The truth is, polluted water isn’t just dirty—it’s deadly. Some 1.8 million people die every year of diarrheal diseases like cholera. Tens of millions of others are seriously sickened by a host of water-related ailments—many of which are easily preventable. So why in the 21st century, with cutting-edge technologies at our disposal, are we still see devastating consequences? At the moment, all over the world there are problems associated with the lack of clean fresh water. On the other hand, we can see millions of tons of industrial waste being thrown into rivers and lakes. Safe water, sanitation and hygiene at home should not be a privilege of only those who are rich or live in urban centers, every human being deserves to have decent living conditions and access to essential resources. Unfortunately, clean water is still inaccessible for many people, and it seems so unfair. Why, with all bright minds, who can do so much towards a global goal, we are still left with nothing? Why shouldn’t science and technology be used in order to make life better? The company asked these questions and decided that it has a solution. That is why the company has directed all efforts to create a technology that would solve this issue, this is what became the motivation and one of the goals for creating a resource-saving technology for organizing water supply and water disposal.
One impact is to save capital costs (desalination unit of lower performance, fecal sludge treatment unit of lower performance); that is, thanks to this innovative technology, the company will be able to achieve a reduction in production and operation costs. The economic efficiency of capital investments is expressed in the economic result that is achieved from their implementation. The immediate economic result is a decrease in production capacity. The technology of lower productivity, due to which capital costs are reduced, allows the company to do this without compromising the quality of the final product.
Another impact is to save exploitation costs (energy-saving equipment needs less electricity and needs fewer resources); due to the fact that the company seeks not only to reduce the cash costs of this innovative technology, but also to optimize resource costs as much as possible, an installation was received that allows to consume less electricity than other market representatives.
Finally, there is the impact of increased environmental friendliness (source water of lower need, treated sewage water is not utilized but reused for technical needs). The main task of the project is to show an innovative technology that is not only beneficial in the business area, but also one that shows the social responsibility of the company. “I believe this innovation best accomplishes both of these goals. primarily because the technology allows you to re-purify and use water, of course, not for human needs, but for technical ones, but this really helps to get rid of the problem of excessive use of water resources.” — says Zhanna Kotel’nikova, the Commercial director of the company.
The business hires high-level employees, so it gives lots of benefits: there are numerous patents and ongoing research which provide the company with a stable income. Because of technological leadership, global presence and experience in the industrial water treatment market, the company achieves maximum results at the lowest cost.
It expands the outreach that the business strives for securing the longevity of economic success. Besides, it has been proved that the innovation used stabilizes the marketing process, decreasing expenses. We should point out that it also contributes to the sales which have gone up dramatically since the implementation of this innovation.
Innovation helps anticipate market changes more quickly and get ahead of opportunities, so they aren’t forced to react to shifts. It also helps differentiate the company from the competition.
The innovation comes from continuously analyzing market trends, listening to the customers, suppliers and advisors, and studying what competitors are doing in order to spot opportunities and jump on them.
Innovation is a great way to establish a unique selling proposition ("USP") for a product – something which the customer is prepared to pay more for and which helps our business differentiate itself from competitors.
Innovation helps to reduce waste in business and leave better positioned to focus on the long-term goals, rather than always putting out fires.
In addition, it’s important to point out, that innovation improved staff retention, motivation and easier recruitment.
It is not an obvious benefit, but often significant. Potential good quality recruits are often drawn to a business with a reputation for innovation. Innovative businesses have a reputation for being inspiring places to be working in.
Any innovation should work towards a universal good, otherwise the importance of it can be questioned. This particular innovation has quite an impact on all spheres of life.
First things first, we can clearly see that it benefits the Environment. We have already mentioned the fact that water is essential for us and we can not deny that it is of paramount importance that we can have access to it. This technology saves it, cleans it and makes water ready to be used once again, so in fact it minimizes a negative impact the company might have on the environment. Our planet is too fragile to handle it without taking precautionary measures, so we are challenged to implement technologies that can save what we have and not completely ruin it. What is more, the company is focused on R&D, which means that professors and scientists have clear career prospects at the company after graduation, and we know how hard it is to find a good job in this fierce competition.
Second of all, it benefits the society: the company leader shared the experience of working in Africa as “one of the most interesting ones.” As we all are aware, the problem of waste and water crisis is crucial there. By helping out the colleagues from all over the globe, who have similar goals and aspire to do best, the company benefits the society, who gets working places and decent working conditions; the businesses, who strive to be eco-friendly and make sure it conducts business ethically and wants to do good. No one has suffered from being open to the world, treating the global community as a tightly-connected set of individuals, so implementing these sorts of innovations makes the world a better place.
