Pure, Safe, Beneficial

Inspiration

Yulia Soultanov is an independent consultant for Arbonne. She was a professional dancer until an unfortunate injury in December 2016 put a stop to her successful career. “I was devastated and I obviously hadn’t planned for it," she said. Soultanov needed a new plan. Selling skincare was not what she had in mind. She was looking for natural, pure, beneficial products for herself and after a friend introduced her to Arbonne, she “fell in love.” She explained that “I always wanted to own my own business but I didn’t know how. At Arbonne, it's easy.” She became an independent consultant for Arbonne and is now a district manager. She sells and promotes Arbonne products through a personal network of clients. She says that Arbonne has given her the freedom and lifestyle she has always wanted. Soultanov is a devoted wife and mother with boundless love and energy. She lights up every room. It is not hard to see why she has been so successful as an Arbonne consultant.

Arbonne was founded in Switzerland in 1975 when Petter Mørck, with a group of biochemists, biologists, and herbalists, had a goal to create skincare products based on botanical principles. “From botanically based ingredients to forward looking green improvements, being earth friendly has everything to do with who we are and how we choose to grow," Soultanov noted.

Overall impact

Arbonne’s commitment to green values and the Green Idea program reverberates throughout the company and is the core processes of product sourcing and distribution. At Arbonne, they are always looking for ways to minimize their impact on the earth. “Our initiatives span sourcing, manufacturing and operations, lightening our carbon footprint with each step forwards," she explained. They continually aim to develop products from botanical ingredients that are as pure and unadulterated as possible.

Business benefit

As the company grows, Arbonne continues to "branch out in future friendly ways, leaving a green legacy for generations to come," Soultanov said. Arbonne is a trailblazer which educates, inspires and helps people to make greener choices for the earth and their health and beauty. The company is a leader in striving for better products and a better world. This philosophy attracts a particular market of customers and employees that aim to do good for themselves and the planet. The network marketing element of the company gives employees a platform to spread Arbonne’s green message and do good. It also gives employees a sense of pride and purpose in the work that they do. This creates deeper engagement and loyalty from employees and less turnover. In the future, people will look back on Arbonne as being a leading company in the fight to protect the planet.

Social and environmental benefit

The products are safe and eco-friendly. Product shipments are certified carbon neutral. They aim to create products that are beneficial and non-toxic for customers and promote health and well-being.

As a result of Arbonne’s green philosophy, Arbonne is vegan certified and is on PETA’s animal friendly list. They do not test their products or ingredients on animals. Their products do not contain animal products or by-products. Arbonne also offsets its carbon impact through the Carbon Neutral Company.

Arbonne uses renewable sources for all paper packaging such as soy-based inks on all printed materials and biodegradable content in all packaging.
