There are many varieties of wedang in java one of the most popular is wedang jahe which uses ginger as the main product, meanwhile Wening Indonesia product Wening Wedang Uwuh have various herbs and spices. These various kind of herbs and spices have various health benefits to body (SDG 3 good health). The way they are making the wedang is very efficient. The product leaves minimum waste (SDG 12 responsible consumption & production), also Wening Indonesia has targeted their product to be more modern. So Indonesia's traditional beverage can be enjoyed by foreigners, and it is also valuable as a souvenir (SDG 8 Decent work & Economic Growth).

Innovation

Wening Indonesia uses various herbs and spices such as Secang wood, clove, cinnamon, lemongrass, ginger, lime leaves, cardamom, and nutmeg. These various kind of herbs and spices have various health benefits to body such as lowering cholesterol, reducing stomach pain, and making body healthier in general. The traditional process of making wedang before was very impractical and created lots of waste. Wening Indonesia iimproves the product by using the model of a tea bag for the consumer to make wedang more practical and reducing the waste. In addition, Wening Indonesia also targeted their product to be modern for younger generation in indonseia and for international market, in an effort to make wedang well known as Indonesia's traditional beverage that Indonesian can be proud of.
