As we all know, Shopping Gives is a public interest company that captures the needs of the times, connecting customers with the company and benefiting the society, many people wondered what inspired such a great company, we interviewed the company's CEO, Mr. Ronny Sage.

He said: “After years of experience working at a digital marketing agency, I kept seeing a common theme—how do brands connect with the right customers in a more meaningful way? With the U.S. market spending over $200B in advertising and $25B in digital advertising, I thought there has to be a better way for businesses to spend this money, while still acquiring the right customer.

I believed there was an opportunity to shift marketing dollars to the impact space and by doing so, businesses could connect with customers to build authentic relationships while still driving business goals—all while creating a positive impact.”

Ronny Sage said: ”The movement of conscious commerce has grown exponentially over the last 10 years and we recognized the growing desire among consumers to align their purchases with their values. We wanted to bridge the gap between consumer spending and charitable giving, making it easier for individuals to support causes they believe in while shopping with their favorite brands.

As our team started digging into the issue, we realized how cost-prohibitive cause marketing was for brands, and how little the consumer had to do with the role in who brands supported. We saw that the big brands gave to the top nonprofits and that most of the time, the customer was the one who ended up paying more for the donation. This is where ShoppingGives came in.”
