Innovation

Their sustainability process is:

  • Confection
  • Surplus Textil
  • Giotex
  • Pre-consumer cotton and post-consumer polyester
  • Mixture of fibers
  • Spinning process
  • Fabric finish making

The Global Standard Recycle product is a comprehensive, voluntary, international product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.

Inspiration

The empathic with its values and beliefs in seeking the least damage to the planet, in the interview carried out we realized the pride that all collaborators feel in belonging and contributing to the environment in a positive way.

"We are committed with responsability, honest, environment, but more important: with the planet." - Adrián López

Inspiration and strengths of the company:

"Work team"

"The cotton recycling process, from the collection, transformation to fiber, transformation to thread and transformation to textile."

"No dyeing paint is used to dye the cotton, with a fine creative process."

"Water is not wasted, no chemicals are thrown away, we do not destroy the environment."

"Finishing process, fabric washing with only 2 liters of water."

Overall impact

They use highly sustainable processes, saving almost 6 million liters of water per year in the production of pre-dyed threads, 3.75 million KG of textile waste transformed into cotton, 157 million kWh saved in its production, and many more that we have yet to discover. Can you believe this?

Mainly SDG 13 in the company looks for the environment and has a high infrastructure, which is constantly working and innovating on it, which includes social aspects since by caring for the environment it is interacting with society and the economy, constantly they are producing to increase their numbers and have greater productivity.

The SDG 12 is responsible for production and consumption. The company has a responsible production since they promote the development of new technologies to reduce the damage they are doing to the environment. SDG 9 applies since it has a large, well-prepared infrastructure and they are constantly innovating new production techniques.

Business benefit

The real impact they exert on process innovation is truly astonishing and is reflected in the mission of creating high-quality products, offering wide ranges of colors, types of fibers, always seeking customer satisfaction, reaching almost every corner of the world, and working hand with experts working on the development of new techniques to reduce environmental damage.

Social and environmental benefit

All its processes seek to have a good impact on the environment, meaning less contamination of the planet's soils by not using chemicals, use of 2 liters of water for washing fabric, of which 1 liter is recycled and another liter is evaporated, recycles polyester and plastic bottles.

Every year, they help the environment with:

  • 3.75 million kg of textile waste transformed into cotton.
  • 4.2 million recycled PET plastic bottles.
  • 5.99 million liters of water saved.
  • 0 chemicals or dyes spilled into the subsoil in our process.
  • 157 million kWh energy saved in their manufacturing process.
