Timboo Cafe works to prevent hunger and food waste, one of the biggest problems in the world. The business runs a "menu engineering" practice to prevent food waste. What is menu engineering? It is the systematic evaluation of the menu, powerful marketing, and control tool in food and beverage units, in terms of sales and cost, using a product in many dishes and presenting it as a new dish. The company carries out a wide range of studies while preparing menus. Care is taken to use the product to be added to the menu in at least three different ways. For example, the product designed as crispy chicken pieces can be served as a main course with french fries and sauces, while the same chickens can be presented on the menu as salads and sandwiches using a different cooking technique. The cafe aims to minimize waste with this method.

Many countries and organizations are working on hunger, one of the global problems. Difficulties in food production and transportation caused by climate change are some of the important factors in the emergence of the problem of hunger. Therefore, TimbooCafe also decided to carry out studies to draw attention to these issues, raise awareness and prevent waste. Furthermore, based on the "First In, First Out" practice, which is the first rule in food safety and is the business's primary motivation, it aims to minimize the stocking time of the products and consume the food in its freshest form. In addition, it is important to consume foods healthy and without waste in Turkish culture, and this practice has been carried out by being inspired by Turkish culture.

The business, which has many components, ensures that all products are used without waste. This is extremely harmful to the environment and contributes to climate change.
