Frank E-Bikes has several innovative aspects. First, and most importantly, the innovation which distinguishes Frank from the rest of the electric bicycles in the market is that they use solid tires. They are composed of a special polymer which supports, without any kind of alterations, changes in temperature, humidity and even long exposures to UV rays. These tires do not have air chambers inside just like any regular bicycle, this means there is no risk of punctures.

The bikes are equipped with last generation lithium batteries of 10.3 Ah which are stored inside an elegant removable accessory. When it's necessary to charge them, the user can plug it in any 220V home plug. Combined with 350W or 500W engines they provide an approximate 40km of autonomy.

The use of the vehicle is completely silent. Users can use the engine power, pedal power, or both simultaneously to reach speed of up to 40km/h. Among other accessories, all of the models include front and rear LED lights, hydraulic brakes and suspension.

At the moment, Frank E-Bikes offers six different models, Classic, Sport, Elegance, Elite, Chopper and Foldable.

Inspiration

The business was conceived and created in 2016 by Alejandro Stern. After finishing his degree in industrial engineering, he started his research on renewable energies. Overwhelmed with the pollution of the environment, traffic congestions and above all, the amount of time he lost driving his car every day, he decided to focus his research on sustainable urban mobility.

He become passionate about electric vehicles and the substantial improvements they have compared to conventional engines.
