Summary

A garment factory that focuses on improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Since their inception, Noman Group, the parent company of Zaber and Zubair, has been pioneering practices to minimize the use of energy, water, chemicals, and other materials. The facilities are designed and operated in an eco-friendly manner in order to minimize their environmental impact.

Innovation

Zaber and Zubair fabrics has introduced Soft Pigment Print which uses less water, chemicals, and energy. This company reuses emitted gas from CNG generators. They recycle 200 tons of fabric every month; recycled fabrics are processed to make wastage yarn. Zaber and Zubair fabrics Ltd recycles chemical drums and plastic byproducts of 30 tons every month. Additionally, they use energy efficient light bulbs and recycle salt. The business relies on abundant sources of water, whether it is in manufacturing or providing clean water for workers wherever they operate. The water usage associated with manufacturing is a significant part of their overall water footprint. Therefore, they properly address their water usage, quality, and availability within their direct operations, which not only reduce their overall environmental footprint, but also makes good business sense to operate as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Zaber and Zubair Fabrics possesses the country’s largest biological Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring that the water used in production returns to natural sources without any harmful substances.
