The innovation of Uniway Freight Service Inc. is it is a logistics company that is founded by a woman. The founder Yuki said, "It is hard to see female workers in this field. I have many difficult experiences when I was doing my job. But why women cannot do the things that men can do? I believe woman also can do well in everything that man are doing." Also, Yuki would like to hire the Chinese who cannot speak English very well. "Chinese have many good personal characteristics, they work hard and have good performance. But because many of them do not speak English well, they lose many chance to work. When I came to the U.S, my English was also very poor, I am afraid to communicate with local people and I lost out on many work opportunities. But many Chinese helped me and encouraged me to learn English. Right now I can talk with English speakers very well. This experience made me want to help other Chinese find jobs and I will work on helping them with their English."

Inspiration

"Before I came to the U.S, I already had worked as a freight forwarder. This experience allowed me to have amassed many connections. Freight forwarder is the most familiar job for me. I found that there are many logistics company in the U.S, but the price is expensive and most of them did not provide good service. Therefore, the goal of changing the bad ecosystem in the freight field was another reason why I founded this company." Also, many Chinese friends of Yuki's complained that many businesses rejected them because of the language barrier. Yuki wants to establish this corporation to provide working opportunities for the Chinese community.
