MOMENT Media became motivated by the meaningful work in which they care deeply. The organization was established to partner with clients who are driven by the belief that real-world impact is possible. Jen knew that they were passionate about human services, which is why she decided to focus on clients who were doing good for the world. She emerged with MOMENT because it is about impact-driven public relations. They work with clients who are agents of change. “If you are here to have an impact in the world, we are here to make sure the world knows who you are,” she told us.
One of Jen’s clients who is dedicated to achieving a sustainable future is All Hands and Hearts. They successfully work to address the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. MOMENT Media has helped them communicate with local leaders, community members, and the media as they deploy a unique way of engaging volunteers to enable impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes, and infrastructure.
MOMENT Media focuses on societal impact. They help clients like All Hands and Hearts strengthen both their volunteers and the communities in which they serve. Through engagement, they focus on helping families recover faster after natural disasters because of the planning they do year-round. By leveraging relationships that they have with the media, Jen and her team can continue to get exposure for their clients after all the cameras are gone.
One of MOMENT Media’s clients was featured in a “Who We Are” piece one Saturday morning, and within four hours of the piece airing they had received many donations and new applications to join the organization.
At MOMENT Media, Jen and her team try and do good not only for their clients but for one another. She focuses on being a great mentor to her employees while teaching them to manage up. This strategy allows them to learn from each other and bring out the best in them. They have gone from a full-service public relations and strategic communications firm to offering media buying and building websites for their clients. Being a small shop has pushed them to explore new areas that they had not offered before. It is amazing what you can do if you put in the time and effort, and MOMENT Media exists as a great example of going above and beyond.
MOMENT Media is helping to amplify their clients' enduring moments, which in turn helps them raise money, build awareness, and create engagement. Jen and her team are focused on progress towards numerous SDGs, namely 4 Quality Education, 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, and 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities. They believe in the importance of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in creating a sustainable future for all. They are working to make sure their clients' work is shared with people even after all the cameras have gone home.
