During the course of our interview, we could perceive, thanks to Mr. Carlos Garcia, that the institution has many innovations in its processes and infrastructure. This helps to continually generate improvements in any aspect that involves either the company or the population.
SADM is focused on generating a benefit within society and is always looking out to ensure that an environmental or business impact is not harmful. In addition, they seek to be aligned to the needs that may arise and use the technology emerging today, building not only a socially responsible company but also a company of innovation.
On April 30, 1956, Servicios de Agua y Drenaje de Monterrey (SADM) was created, with the character of Decentralized Public Institution (IPD), as its own legal entity, whose objective is to provide the municipal public water service and drainage to the inhabitants of the city of Monterrey and other surrounding municipalities.
SADM's headquarters are in the city of Monterrey. The company is highly related to sustainability objectives aligned with the implementation of the 4 Objectives of Sustainable Development (Global Goals) of the United Nations. These objectives are Goal 6, clean water and sanitation, Goal 9 infrastructure and innovation, Goal 11 sustainable cities and communities, and also Goal 12 responsible consumption and production.
