Sinergi untuk Nusantara (SINA) was established in 2021 with the purpose and objective of helping the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia by offering support through learning and mentoring programs, business partnering, and management consultancy that is required by the MSMEs to grow, sustain, and scale up their business.
SINA develops a Virtual Manager platform that can help MSMEs have strong fundamentals and grow faster to face not only current situations but also very competitive markets in the future.
Indonesia is one of the world’s largest economies with potential for development in the coming years. The role of small and medium enterprises in Indonesia is crucial in the national economy. Small and medium enterprises contribute substantially to Indonesia’s economic growth and play an essential role in social inclusion.
Small and medium enterprises in Indonesia account for more than half of business investment and more than 90% of domestic employment, with the capability of creating jobs and alleviating poverty. Developing these MSMEs into sustainable businesses will be an essential driver of Indonesia’s future development.
While recognizing the crucial role MSMEs play in the Indonesian economy, major issues persist, as many of the MSMEs' entrepreneurs still encounter obstacles in maintaining and scaling up their businesses. Due to financial, human, and knowledge constraints, MSMEs are generally constrained in their ability to adjust to changing market conditions (demand, technology, prices, etc.).
As such, SINA aims to help MSMEs continue to grow, transform, and develop their businesses. By supporting the MSMEs, SINA believes the role of the MSMEs will further help Indonesians create jobs, alleviate poverty, and help the Indonesian economy.
Since its establishment, SINA has partnered with many small and medium enterprises to grow and scale up their businesses by utilizing the technology-based platform, various coaching programs, and business consultation. Consequently, as the MSME's growth accelerates, the local economy is positively impacted.
SINA's businesses continue to grow in line with the growth of the MSMEs supported by SINA.
