Empire Nutrition started on Long Island, New York, and now has seven locations throughout Long Island. Their aspiring goal is to offer a total experience in personalized health and sports nutrition. Domenic joined the company in 2021 as a regional manager and has helped them to promote their goal.
Empire Nutrition offers its customers a variety of healthy options including custom meal prep, smoothies, shakes, and snacks. They are trying to bring the convenience of health to their customers so that there is no longer a tradeoff between convenience and health.
This market is crowded with many stores such as GNS's or Vitamin Shoppe's but Empire Nutrition stands miles out from the competition. Empire Nutrition not only offers healthy options and vitamins that every GNC offers, but they also offer custom meal prep which can be delivered at home. These meals are meant to transform the lives of their customers by offering the perfect ratio of nutrients and proteins.
Empire Nutrition, which was rebranded in 2018, has been offering its customers the highest quality of meals for years. The seven locations throughout Long Island, NY really help spread their message and promotion of health. Here in New York state, there is a severe obesity issue. As of 2019, the percentage of adults who are classified as overweight or obese is 63.2% This is a significant increase from 42% back in 1997.
The healthy meal options which are freshly prepared, along with the fresh smoothies and shakes offer a direct combat towards lowering this high obesity rate. The one problem that the meal prep industry sees is the fact that they are usually very expensive. Empire Nutrition offers the lowest pricing around for these pre-made meals. In a state where everything is so fast-paced, fast food locations thrive because they are easy for consumers. Empire Nutrition offers health meal prep which can be delivered weekly to their customers. This is directly attacking the ease at which unhealthy food is available, and making healthier convenient options more readily available.
A great quote from our interview with the regional manager is, " We don't get a do-over. We only get one body. You don't realize how blessed you are to be 'healthy' until it's too late to go back and fix it." This quote hit home for most New Yorkers now more than ever with the recent pandemic over the last two years. For many, physical health became a second thought and now they feel the consequences.
Empire Nutrition makes its presence heard in the community by taking part in community events, and even weight loss competitions. The goal is a healthier world for all. Empire Nutrition has something for everyone no matter what age, race, or gender. Empire Nutrition sees progress happening and is not letting go.

Society in our current setting has so much easy access to food that isn't necessarily good for our health. Our world is plagued with fast food which is a leading cause of obesity. Empire Nutrition is trying to fight that realm, by promoting to the world that there are healthier options that taste just as good, and are just as easy to get.
