Clean experts uses a traditional mode that has been adapted to their clients and society. This laundry innovated by taking care of water that the machines need to function, seeking to avoid the waste of water, by using the whole capacity of their machines.
In this laundry they take advantage of every resource they have in order to maximize care for the environment.
They have been taking advantage of the water used in each and every washing by taking up as much space as posible inside the washing machine. Reusing water from really dirty clothes, meaning that the water that they used soaking some clothes which were very dirty, that water they used it to flush the bathroom and other uses.
All the generated trash is being reused; they try to reuse most of their trash considering its potential use. For example, they had chlorine in its pot, which when empty, is cut and used as a trash can. Another example is using the little cans which came with the big chlorine pots to pour them into the machines, and as the laundry has too many, they decided to give them to the school next door to use for hand crafts for the kids.
Another thing is that the laundry does not give customers plastic bags, instead they ask them to bring their own eco-friendly bags or sell them to customers that don't have one.
Finally they also have their trash divided. I know it sounds what everybody should do nowadays, but in Mexico, very few people are doing it.
Her inspiration is her love and respect for nature and human beings, to ensure the health of people who wear clean clothes and also to seek leaving a better world to the youngest, showing how they can improve it since it is in constant adaptation to the globalized reality. It is through these actions, little by little making small changes - no longer giving plastic bags, saving water in its different forms, etc. The owner said: "I want to leave a healed world for you young guys so that you can enjoy it responsibly".
In the short term, costs are reduced because she is putting less loads in the machines resulting in less water consumption, and as we all know, potable water has a fee, so the less you consume, the less you will pay, so she reduces her cost in terms of the laundry´s economy. Customers are benefited by environmental care, deep cleaning and personal care. She deeply believes that by putting her effort into healing the world, by carrying out these actions in the business, it makes a difference. With this input she thinks that an example of short and long term effects will contribute to a flourishing world.
For a long term perspective, her aim is to reduce water consumption exponentially. The owner, Mrs. Concha, told us that "Little by little you can make a change. Everything starts with something, so you must start it now and see what the impact is in your day to day life, and watch for the effects of your actions in your community, because little changes make big differences." A difference is already happening in the world, not having seas and rivers polluted by so much plastic production, a "greener world and technology hand in hand with nature". What she wanted to communicate with this last part "technology hand in hand with nature", is that we should evolve to the point where we can create new things, not only thinking of how it will involve nature, but involving nature itself in these new creations.
The business is benefited by the reduction in costs as we mentioned in earlier paragraphs through using less water. Taking care of the personal hygiene and image of clients by having their clothes very neat and presentable, making them feel comfortable because they look clean, they smell good, and have a good image. They develop in someway their customers' security and confidence, delivering good quality through good work. For that reason, customers will talk and create a positive reputation for the laundry, increasing the number of clients and achieving a really good image in the market and neighborhood. As a result, Clean Experts will have customer retention, keeping them for the long term and reaching a larger market.
Reducing the cost of water for its use, having new garbage containers because they recycle soap and chlorine cans by cutting them in the half and creating trash cans; taking advantage of the water utilized by soaking very dirty clothes and not just throwing it away but reusing it for flushing the bathroom. By doing all these actions they are reducing costs.
Reduction in the use of water, using less plastics, recycling plastics used as bottles to prolong their life, etc.
Stop giving plastic bags completely so as not to contaminate more, recycling all cans that business can, donating reusable items to the nearby school, maintaining hygiene, health and personal care, etc.
