Go Green Ride is a quick, efficient mode of transportation that provides excellence while helping the environment.
Go Green Ride promotes sustainable cities and communities along with affordable and clean energy. Sustaining our cities and communities is essential for a better quality of life. Go Green Ride assists the community and cities by using electric and hybrid cars. Being an eco-friendly company does not ned to mean giving up on an excellent customer service. Go Green Ride provide a unique experience and a relaxing one, providing complimentary Wi-Fi, an iPad, electrical chargers for most phones, and bottled water.
Customers are able to schedule cars using their mobile app. There are two types of memberships, individual or corporate. For individual membership there are three types of services, one is right now location to location. Another type is appointment, allowing individuals to schedule future rides. Also Airport Flat rate is available for all who desire. On the other hand, Corporate accounts are customizable based on their size and the frequency of use. In conclusion, Go Green Ride is an innovation that contains other innovations within allowing the company to become extra ordinary.
Go Green Ride's use of Hybrid and electric cars allows the environment to become a better place. New York City is one of the most busy and populated cities in the world. Using a healthier mode of transportation will decrease pollution. Hybrid and electric cars are better for the environment as they produce less harmful emission. Furthermore, the Hybrid and electric cars are cost efficient as they consume less gasoline if any.
Go Green Ride launched winter of 2012 however the concept was developed in 2006. Founder and CEO, Yamandou Alexander was actively seeking a reliable, affordable, environmentally responsible car that established the luxury of a black car. Furthermore, Yamandou Alexander believed in helping the community, thus creating the idea to use electric cars.
According to a business insider article, by Alex Davies, Yamandou Alexander mentioned that Go Green Ride is the idea of "JetBlue on wheels." Considering Jet Blue is a luxury experience yet affordable with great customer service. Yamandou Alexander dedicated his passion to create a car service that can exceeded expectations.
Go Green Ride was inspired by certain values, for instance, environmentally responsible mode of transportation while providing quality, and affordability. There are plenty of car service companies. While quality is now achieved by companies such as Uber and Lyft, environmentally responsible is almost non-existent. Yamandou Alexander passionately desired to offer individuals an environmentally responsible, high quality and affordable car service. Yamandou Alexander lived in New York City and understood the struggle of commuting and the absurd traffic. Therefore, he decided to create an effective reliable car service to help accommodate all individuals. In addition, commuting is stressful and time consuming thus Yamandou Alexander created the add- on feature providing on board entertainment. This allows for a stress outlet as well as a smooth enjoyable ride.

Go Green Ride had a huge impact on society and the environment. One way Go Green Ride affected society are job opportunities. There are various job opportunities with Go Green Ride. Jobs include customer service, to assist clients with their questions or needs, Drivers with TLC clean license to help deliver excellence, and copilots. Copilots are responsible for monitoring of the car dispatching to support and supervise drivers, they also have commercial impact when accepting calls or when in contact with customers. Another impact on society is affordability yet luxurious experience. Furthermore, instant availability as well as scheduled services.
One great impact on the environment is the availability of an eco-friendly car service. New York City is has many private car services yet rarely one that is environmentally responsible. Go Green Ride adapted hybrid and electric cars to help the pollution and decrease the pollution percentage. Go Green Ride reduces harmful air pollution from exhaust emissions. Furthermore, electric cars can be recharged with renewable energy which can decrease the greenhouse gas emission even further.
Go Green Ride keeps growing as the company is successful. Go Green Ride established competitive advantage by providing an environmentally responsible, luxurious features with the same price as its competitors. Uber, Lyft, and many others provide good quality and cost efficient service however only Go Green Ride is eco-friendly. According to the Senior Operating Manager Go Green Ride is experiencing rapid growth with 25% margin of profit of average $100,000 a month. Furthermore, the more the members the larger the company and currently there are around 5,000 individual memberships and 2,000 corporate memberships. Go Green Ride is advancing and expanding in hope of becoming the largest car service company.
