Its production process is based on the recycling of PET bottles, and then transformed into flakes to generate PET fiber through an extrusion process. Subsequently, it is mixed with regenerated cotton to generate yarns that will allow the making of sweatshirts, shirts, hats, etc.
Grupo Green Market, is one of the leading companies nationwide in designing and developing sustainable promotional items for the advertising industry, which are made with renewable raw material, recycled, recyclable or reusable.
This raw material goes from the tire camera of airplanes and tractors with which bags and backpacks are made; PET bottles with which we make or use recycled paper made of tetrapaqueteria packaging for the production of notebooks, among other materials; for the elaboration of each product it is contemplated from the extraction of raw materials, its production, distribution until its elimination at the end of its life cycle.

Grupo Green Market is a Mexican company specializing in the field of ecological promotional items, which has developed its own line of products under a sustainable scheme that covers the life cycle of each item.
The raw materials from which their products are made come from renewable sources, national recycling or non-toxic processed materials, we have minimized the use of disposable materials and the printing processes used are friendly to the environment.
GGM works with local suppliers under practices that respect the environment and a socially equitable commercial relationship; Likewise, it collaborates with indigenous communities in the elaboration of handicraft products, reactivating local economies under a fair trade policy.
Finally, the packaging of the products are designed on the principle of reuse and easy recycling.
Each year GGM has shown economic growth, therefore it has also been growing both socially and environmentally. Proposed goals have been reached every year.
The company has increased its sales volume every year thanks to more and more companies that are transforming and adopting a triple bottom line strategy. In 2010 they started with a portfolio of 30 clients and today they have 700 customers who make purchases frequently.
They have developed during these 7 years a catalog of more than 700 products ranging from biodegradable pens to rim backpacks of which 80% without designed and manufactured in Mexico and 20% of our products are imported.
Likewise, Grupo Green Market, has 7 years in the market, managing to create seven brands of lines of different products, such as: Semikit, I Love Green, EcoApparel, UrbanEcoBags, etc.
GGM reactivates local economies by working with artisans, promoting the national workforce under a commercial and socially equitable relationship, generating more jobs, helping to strengthen the image of brands that are already responsible with the environment and we always work under a win-win relationship.
The company started with 2 people and now there are 11 people that operate in GGM. Its first portfolio of suppliers was made up of 10 suppliers, but with the development of products it has increased to at least 300 companies, of which there are 50 base suppliers and with the rest, occasional purchases are made.They look for long term relationships always with the premise of win win.
They also work with some communities and foundations where we acquire handicrafts and products of organic origin.
The environmental impact is measured by the amount of raw material consumed from recycled origin, for example, during 7 years have collected approximately 20,000 thousand tire chambers for the manufacture of various products and 10 tons of recycled paper avoiding the felling of 170 trees, possibly more, besides promoting the recycling of tetra pack containers.
