Summary

This idea began with a brainstorming that this team had regarding which company to carry out the interview but also comply with everything requested in Aim2Flourish, when thinking about it, we concluded that the most practical and simple option was to go for Royal Prestige, a company in which one of our colleagues knows very well and has a good relationship with someone in high command who is knowledgeable about the company.


Innovation

This company offers the most innovative kitchen utensils and accessories for the home, these are designed with demanding quality standards, this innovation is the type of material with which its products are made, since they will not need oil to cook and would reduce the use of salt, this material allows you to save money while cooking.

Going into the history of the company, we saw that its success began in 1959, when the founder Peter Johnson Sr., as a young student, was in his first year of university, began to take an interest in the kitchenware business and decided to create his own distribution company in Madison, Wisconsin.

The people involved in the innovation of this company were Peter O. Johnson Sr. and his friend Dave Johnson, who, in 1959 were college students who, inside their garage in Madison, Wisconsin, bought, stored, and distributed a line of kitchen products.

When we asked about the inspiration for this project, Luque explained to us that this idea came up in 1959 by Peter O. Johnson Sr., who had the idea, but it was expanded by his friend Dave Johnson, seeing that people had a problem with the market transportation of materials.

Business benefit

When asking about Peter's motivation, the obvious motivation was that like any business, to generate income and market but his second motivation was to improve people's health indirectly through his product.

Social and environmental benefit

When we got to the part of asking about the impact of this company, Luque mentions that the impact of this innovation within the company was that they made it stand out from the competition in this market and they managed to create quality products that help society.

Regarding society, it tells us that these products help their consumers when cooking because less fat is used than in common utensils, in addition to being more durable, supporting the economy in the aspect that you do not need buy more products for many, many years.
