The Foundation has many active projects and programs. According to the annual report of previous years, by 2019, the progress was already excellent. For 17 years, they provided charitable assistance to children left without parental care. The numbers say it all: 36.3 million rubles was the charity budget of the Foundation in 2019; 37 companies of the pharmaceutical market and industry were partners of the Fund and 39 webinars were held in the "Online School of Sensitive Parents"; in 208 orphanages and aid centers, thousands of children were brought up without the care of their parents; 1178 substitute families received assistance in the direction of HEALTH; and 95 scholarship participants of the "I Want to Learn" program received scholarships for academic success.

Inspiration

The idea of creating a Foundation appeared relatively recently. The concept of corporate social responsibility has always been close to the company. The Foundation has become one of the main projects that help improve the world and help people. In their words:

Moreover, "It is worth recognizing that special attention is paid to the field of ecology and vital environmental problems, since we believe that environmental care should be an integral part of the activities of each company, therefore, we protect the environment and treat nature as a partner. First of all, all of our branches are constantly exploring ways to reduce the negative impact on the environment. We monitor our activities for compliance with environmental regulations." In this connection, this idea of helping not only people related to the work in the Katren, but also the environment and people in general.

The priority area of charitable activity is the support of socially vulnerable segments of the population, primarily orphans".

Today, with the need for various business entities not only to form competitive advantages, but also to create a certain image associated with the value and ideological side of the activity, charitable programs are of particular importance. It is the most important PR tool, allowing a company to form an image and reputation as socially responsible, and become an important newsworthy subject. The introduction of charity into the communication activities of a commercial company is an indicator of its stability, seriousness, legality and success.

"Our group of companies Katren, which operates on the funds deducted from the company's profits, donated by employees of Katren and partners of the Fund, performs charitable activities through the fund of the same name, created specifically for these purposes. In particular, to be more precise, in 2014, the foundation took first place in the overall Vll rating of the international competition 'Leaders of Corporate Charity,' winning the championship among 59 large Russian and foreign companies. Further, in 2016, the Donors' Forum, an organization that unites foundations and companies that systematically engage in charitable activities, elected Inna Prokhorova, Director of the Katren Corporate Charitable Foundation, to the Forum's Board.

The Katren company became the winner of the Leaders of Corporate Charity – 2016 award in the category 'The Best Program implemented in partnership with other business' with the Healthy Family program. Katren also received a special jury prize in the category 'Concept and Strategy of Corporate Charity.'

In 2017, KBF Katren received public recognition: A diploma from the portal mail.ru 'The best presentation of information about the organization's resources in the annual report,' as well as the Diploma of the Public Relations Committee of the City of Moscow 'The best annual report focused on the local community.'

In 2018, the Charity Foundation created the 'Online School of Empathetic Parents' - a series of webinars and consultations to support stakeholders in the development of child-parent relations. In 2018, the school held 27 webinars, which we are certainly proud of! In 2019, the 'Online School of Sensitive Parents' held 40 free webinars for parents."

- reduce energy and natural resource consumption (including fuel use) by improving insulation in our warehouses;

- recycling of all waste through specialized organizations in accordance with environmental requirements;

- use of environmentally friendly materials;

- energy savings due to LED lamps;

- reduce paper usage and introduce paperless technology."
