The League of Yes is an organization that tries to reduce the inequalities that people with special needs face today. It offers everyone, regardless of ability, the chance to play the game of baseball.
The League of Yes is a business model based on the notion that everyone can play the game of baseball. The business model for the organization shows the world that the inequalities people with special needs face shouldn’t stop them from playing the game of baseball. This gives each individual a chance to build self-esteem and grow.
“The League of YES has made a tremendous impact on the players. The children can be accepted for who they are and enjoy just being a kid. They are not judged for winning a game or being the best. This league has helped so many of the children build confidence.”
“Our aim is to help the league’s players develop social skills and increase self-esteem, while promoting community support and sponsorship for the league.”

The League of Yes has established and sustained baseball programs for people with disabilities, regardless of age. Their objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime.
The goal has been to teach typical kids that children with special needs want to have fun and play sports like everyone else. The hope has been to stop bullying by getting to know these children. Since they have serviced over 3,000 kids in the past six years within the community, they feel that they have made a large difference. This company makes its money through the entry fees for the players, sales of t-shirts and other League of Yes items, and through concession sales made at the game events.
The League of Yes enables everyone to play the game of baseball. The business model for the organization shows the world that the inequalities for people with special needs shouldn’t stop them from playing the game of baseball. This has had a great impact on the society of Long Island by opening up volunteers' eyes and has led people to help special needs kids' families to smile and see them having fun.
