Habits 365 club was founded with a mission to develop a positive mindset by practicing daily habits in children. An educational organization based in Goa, India, that was founded on Children's Day in 2021.
The organization aims to instill good habits, a positive mindset, character development, and self-discipline in children at a very young age.
The entire business is built on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
The innovation by the Habits 365 club was a simple yet essential idea aimed at inculcating imperative habits in young children, which are often neglected by parents in today’s busy world. Its main goal is to cultivate good moral values such as kindness, respect, and compassion at an early age in a child’s life, which helps them grow with the right mindset of ethics and moral values. As Aristotle rightly claimed, “Good habits formed in youth make all the difference.”
The entire concept is unique as the habits are built at home. All habits are tracked and monitored regularly online. Since the entire concept is gamified, parents aren’t obligated to force their kids to attend classes. Children enjoy these courses, attend classes of their own free will and develop habits. The team makes sure that every child who’s a part of the program, actively completes the activities and tasks assigned.
It’s made sure that children develop their habits right from home itself. There is no necessity to travel and reach a specific destination to follow the habits.
Unlike other online educational platforms, here every student gets individual and personal attention. They are completely observed by the team and guided along.
It’s a big relief for parents to see their children nurtured by good values and morals.
Every day the feedback is shared with the parents and their growth is measured.
Sustainable Development Goal 4 aims at ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. This goal ensures that all girls and boys complete free primary and secondary. Habits 365 endeavors to fulfil these SDG goals to serve the overarching purpose to impart positive and ethical values to the younger generation.
The inspiration behind the Habit365 club comes from the need for cultivating ethical, moral and disciplined lifestyle habits among future generations. Mr. Prashant Missal, the founder of the Habits 365 club, was born and brought up in Goa. After completing his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Don Bosco College of Engineering. Hailing from a teaching background, Mr. Missal felt the pressing need to propound healthy lifestyle habits through the medium of an ed-tech platform. Post his teaching stint, he thought of turning his passion for teaching into a noble initiative. In the year 2019, he started this venture as a team of two with Mrs. Pallavi Mahaldar.
The idea of developing this business model was to improve the mindset of the people towards learning moral values. The organization's main purpose is to provide moral values at the grass root level. The company firmly believes in cultivating moral values to develop a positive mindset. It acts as a building block for shaping the personality of the children and they imbibe values such as punctuality and discipline. Overall, the inspiration behind their purpose is to leave a positive impact on young children and shape young minds into responsible and self-sufficient citizens.
Habits 365 Club impacts the young minds of India. Children from rural, and semi-urban parts of India struggle to get hold of quality education and personalized habit-building coaches. Habit 365 club inculcates good habits, and learning patterns in these children. Young adults across the globe struggle with physical and mental health issues due to a lack of well-being habits. Habit 365 Club gets to the root of this problem and makes children acquainted with good habits from an early age.
“I noticed students from my village. They were 5th/6th standard but they could not even spell their names. I thought how can a tuition teacher train such students? Teach a child reading, and basic mathematics that too at a personal level is very difficult, especially in villages. City parents can afford home tutors but in villages, it is not possible,” said Mr. Missal.
According to Mr. Missal, quality education is really important for the young population living in villages. Habits 365 Club intends to train children from villages and sub-urban areas and provide quality education and overall well-being. The entire business is built on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
Even though Habits 365 Club is an organization that is built on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), it is still a for-profit organization. Habit 365 club has 4 pricing plans that parents can opt for the development of their children. These are, at the time of writing, as follows-
