Praxair mentions their business is to offer something as fundamental as air by turning plants operations cleaner and more productively, making food taste better, breathing easier, and manufacture more efficient.
These process automatically will help reduce the greenhouse gases, developing renewable energy sources and reducing waste.
Praxair create new technologies, products, and services that aligns with their mission “create a viable planet” which refers on focusing their main business with the sustainable development objectives, by helping their customers reduce their operating costs, minimize resource utilization, and maximize environmental contributions offering their clients more efficient procedures for their business.
The company looks for the safety of their employees by offering trainings that keep them out of danger during their activities, and also empowering by creating projects and participate in them to have positive impacts.
Praxair has several acknowledgement for being socially responsible, six consecutive years in Mexico, and three in Costa Rica. In 2016, 86% of their employees participated in social activities, now a days they have the 99%.
Stakeholders have been involved through decisions of Praxair gaining their trust, and order in their business. These empowerment has been fundamental for Praxairs reputation within their suppliers, customers, and communities around the world.
Ideas have been proposed by employers to have positive impacts that now are being applied in the company making processes more efficient.
Praxair's business help reduce the production of toxic gases that affect the environment and also has strict rules for employee's safety, having an impact with their workers but also with the environment, besides applying projects like the ones explained next.
Trash Zero in schools is a program in which volunteers teach young students the importance of reducing, and recycling trash, to have a better environment. In the present moment Praxair has applied this program in ten schools, the objective is to implement these program in schools of every state of Mexico.

In Mexico, Praxair began operations in 1968 in the city of Monterrey with a database of 23,000 customers, with the design of a professional laboratory located in Estado de Mexico, and strict quality standards, Praxair is positioned as one of the leaders in the gas industry.
Through time the firm has worked with strong values that identify Praxair's business: safety first, high integrity, results-oriented, customer satisfaction, environmental and social responsibility are some concepts in which the firm base their decisions.
For this document we will focus on their strategies to develop a decent work and economic growth in relation to number eight goal established by the United Nations.
