A rather new project of the company AMMA – "Enigma-club. Quests in Reality" managed to win hearts not only of lovers of intellectual games and puzzles but a number of nonpofit organizations, including charitable foundations which have been cooperating closely with the company since the very beginning of the quests. Children from orphanages and kids with oncological diseases are frequent guests of Enigma’s quest room where they spend nice time as well as forget about their problems during their communication with friendly staff and specially invited visitors – actors of their favorite Russian films and TV series. Mr. Ghasparian stressed that: “By passing the quests, children learn to work in teams, develop their logical thinking and study history because the plots of all games are based on historical Soviet realities”.
In spite of great competition, AMMA’s quest room is a leader on the Russian market. Without doubt, the key to success is originality and freshness of exclusive game plots which give players a possibility to soak themselves in the atmosphere of the Soviet Union, train their coordination and examine in real time their intellectual potential, creativity and leadership abilities. Script-writers are professional participants of the "Club of the Cheerful and Inventive People" – a popular intellectual TV show in Russia.
General director of AMMA Anton Ghasparian explains the enormous growth in demand for their services with the fact that in their business: “Work with clients is a primary task; everybody speaks about it and it is our pride”. He adds: “Many people come due to recommendations and it is an indicator of paramount importance for us”.
The company pays special attention to children from orphanages and children with different diseases (including with oncological ones) who are taken by representatives of various foundations, such as volunteers from Give Life and Elder Brothers Elder Sisters. Anton Ghasparian's cooperation with these nonprofit organizations began a month after the opening of quest room Enigma in 2014 and it continues now. More than 30 children groups have attended quests free of charge in 4 years; they have celebrated their graduation parties and other events. The founder of the company Anton and his colleagues became friends with many of the children who visited them and they keep in touch via social media networks.
The leader of the company is inspired with the fact that his initiative makes children happy. He says: “Speaking about children with oncological diseases it is essential to show them that everything is OK, joke with them and smile… You understand it better when having a talk with their mothers. They are often cheerful and optimistic. It is the way to pass their confidence to children, and children are becoming less afraid”. “I enjoy seeing happy smiles of kids who finish quests”, - says Anton with a sad voice. The head of the company remembers the boy who recovered, came to them and told that he had played at Enigma-club two years before. Anton acts because of sincere motivation and not for personal benefit, when he allows disadvantaged childeren to take part quests at Enigma-club. He is sure that we should not speak about such things much because: “Charity ought to be quite”. He is convinced that: “First of all, everybody must listen to their heart”.
The innovation is aimed to the following goals:
1. REDUCED INEQUALITIES
Reduced Inequalities is a vital task of modern society. AMMA’s initiative make children with mental and physical problems, orphans socialize with other kids, get rid of personal complexes.
2. SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES
The activity of Enigma gives a great chance to the most disadvantaged part of society – children with various health problems. Trying to entertain children Anton invites TV stars and celebrities. For example, he mentions Dmitriy Vlaskin from TV series “PE Teacher” as a very responsive man who often comes to quests to play with such special children.
3. PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS
Leading his work Anton has a very fruitful cooperation with foundations, thinking that social responsibility is one one of the priorities of modern business.
Obviously, this project does not bring the company any monetary profits, but it gives much more: it teaches young employees to be socially responsible, to think not only about themselves, to see problems of other people, especially children. Also, Anton develops their activity out of pure generosity, this work contributes to positive image of the company. He prefers not to speak about his charity much, however, people know about it, admire him and come to his quests.
This innovation brings considerable benefits to Russian society. Being a leading company in this field, AMMA can afford to spend money and resources for work with special groups of children. When new volunteers or representatives of charitable foundations come to Mr. Ghasparian and ask him to give a discount to his quests for kids they want to bring from orphanages or hospitals, Anton always answers that they can do it free of charge. Then he consults with them about what kind of food these particular children prefer, whether they have any contraindications and discusses other essential details. “It is extremely important for me to hold every such event at the highest level and to be aware that every child is satisfied with not only playing the quests but also the whole atmosphere in the quest room”, - says Anton. To date, more than 30 similar events have been held.
