Groncol, as an initiative model, allows the urban part of cities to associate with the vegetation and the environment, in this way, generate clean energy with clean air through the construction of green spaces, generate the reduction of greenhouse gases by planting vegetation, lower energy consumption through the installation of solar panels; and innovation in infrastructure through the construction of buildings with environmental designs that contribute to the country's sustainable development.
In this way, sustainable cities and communities, communities tending to the growing trend towards vegetation and green projects, will be able to create suitable environmental with clean air for society.
Groncol is a company dedicated to the development of sustainable projects and green buildings for the construction sector.
"Groncol decided to start with this innovation about 8 years ago, inspired to improve the lives of people through the creation and generation of vegetation in urban areas of cities in order to reduce pollution, gas emissions and wastewater treatment based on building roofs and green walls". This innovation begins in Bogotá, as a dream of a group of people in order to make urban areas, a space where you can generate oxygen people through a square meter of vegetation.
The specific and innovative solution being made by the company to contribute to the UN SDG's and better world are:
1. "Capturing more than 2.8 million liters of water avoiding going to the saturated sewage system we have in this country and subsequently polluted rivers. This creates a clean water cycle and is the equivalent of 62,000 showers".

2. "The capture of more than 356 kilos of particulate matter. With this, Groncol is offsetting contamination of more than 5,900 cars. It is estimated that Groncol projects have captured 14,000 tons of carbon. With this we offset the carbon footprint for more than 10,600 people".

3. "With over 150,000 square meters, has generated Groncol green areas needed for 15,000 people. They have also generated over $ 150,000 million in valuation for clients (green projects such as real estate can cost between 8% and 15% more)".

Inspiration arose from revolutionize the lives of people in the city changing a concrete surface with limited use by a pleasant green space that generates welfare for residents or workers in these buildings.
