A Home for Women-Led Businesses

Inspiration

In modern society, awareness of gender equality is significantly increasing, revealing that women's participation in business would benefit the drive of economic growth and development in society. Often, women are underestimated in terms of how poised for success they are in leadership roles.

As Haylet Hewitt said, One Roof is "taking [down] the barriers to resist women in businesses."

Women are generally nurturing, which make them good listeners while inspiring others to succeed. This attribute is one of the crucial aspects of leadership, as it is imperative to help the people around you to develop their own abilities and strengths.

Overall impact

One Roof's main drive is to create a nurturing and inspiring co-working space committed to women-led businesses (businesses with a female founder, cofounder, or CEO or a strong focus on gender equality). The company continues to provide support and encourages innovation within its community, making an impact on the startup ecosystem, especially for women-led businesses.

One Roof gave access to female entrepreneurs to work on their businesses, exchange ideas, and, more importantly, get to know others to work on a better future.

Most of the women-led businesses at One Roof are working endlessly to build a sustainable business and provide value to society. They are expecting not just a financial return on their work, but also a social impact, addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals such as Goal 4, Quality Education; Goal 5, Gender Equality; and Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Business benefit

Because of One Roof, more than 80 startups and small businesses have gained access to the world of women entrepreneurs. They can help each other to improve their business growth and, more importantly, raise awareness of gender equality in society.

Amateur women entrepreneurs can improve their skills by joining One Roof so that they can gain insight and inspiring ideas for their businesses to grow.

Social and environmental benefit

One Roof's innovation benefits the society as a whole by creating co-working space to gather female entrepreneurs and create sustainable jobs.
