Lenco Diagnostic Laboratory was founded by a Russian immigrant, Lenny Tylman, who earned his master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ukraine in the former Soviet Union. He worked for 10 years as a clinical psychologist, specializing in creating special work processes for cognitively-impaired patients, after which he moved to New York in 1991.
The main goal of Lenco Diagnostic is "Good Health and Well-being. Serving the people’s needs is the main priority of Lenco Diagnostic Laboratory. The team of highly dedicated specialists in the field with the best credentials, experience, and professionalism is available and committed to providing high-quality service to everyone.
Lenco also focuses on "Decent work and economic growth and sustainable cities and communities" since they continue to provide employment for many who can then contribute to the growth of their local economy. Furthermore, Lenco contributes to the growth and development of local communities via taxes when they establish new facilities in different locations.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic began, Lenco Diagnostics has played a critical role in testing thousands at a fast turnaround rate so as to provide peace of mind and continue to be committed to providing only the best services to their customers.

The inspiration behind Lenco Diagnostic Laboratory came after Lenny Tylman immigrated to America from Russia and started working as a taxi driver in NYC. He made friends with local Russian physicians who communicated to him about the need for privately operated medical labs. As such, Lenny saw this as an opportunity (to pick up the samples and test them at a much faster pace), carried it out with a few investments from friends and in time created Lenco Diagnostics. Through this company, he not only makes the lives of physicians easier by saving time and money, but also the wait time for consumers to get their results have significantly decreased because of the quick turnaround time.
“The overall goal is to provide the best services to the metropolitan area, because … all the other competitors are all based in other states. Lenco takes pride in providing for the city by paying taxes, providing employment and overall everyone -the community and all," says Raymond Jiang. Lenco’s continued partnerships with communities and employees are showing high success in their COVID-Testing satisfaction. They are committed to providing the fastest rapid testing and screenings so that everyone who uses their services can feel at ease during these difficult times.
