The Wellness Center of Thibodaux Regional is innovative not only by the services it provides but by the convenience of location. In the Thibodaux area, there are several gyms, physical therapy offices, rehabilitation centers, and health cafes; however, only the Wellness Center can provide these services under one roof. The innovation emerged when Greg Stock and his colleagues imagined a place where patients could recover comfortably, and stay well by living a healthy lifestyle. Medical integration was the idea that drove the creation of this innovation.
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center’s guiding values include “respect, integrity, innovation, excellence, accountability, and passion;” each of these values is evident in the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center is on a mission to create a healthier community through medical integration; being the first of its kind in Louisiana, the Center is already proving to be innovative and respectable. The personal, tailored experience you receive from the moment you arrive is consistent with Thibodaux Regional’s reputation of being an excellent, accountable, and passionate facility.
The Wellness Center of Thibodaux Regional is fairly new but has already made its impact on people in and out of the community. Mr. Greg Stock had a vision roughly ten years ago of this establishment. Angela Chaisson states, "He imagined a place where patients could recover comfortably and then stay well by living a healthy lifestyle." Medical integration was the idea that drove the creation of this innovation.

The Wellness Center strives to provide an outlet to encourage a healthy lifestyle. The Wellness Center offers a variety of services to help kick-start your journey: whether weight loss, recovery, or longevity is your main goal, the Wellness Center can assist. The Wellness Center is not only good for the body and mind but also the Environment. The Wellness Center differs from other facilities by not only generating healthy patients but also being a LEAN facility. Elaborating on the idea of a LEAN facility meaning, “The Wellness Center uses the most environmentally friendly AVC systems, water conservation, and solar panels to operate the building,” (Lean Facility, 2018). By operating in this manner, minimal waste is generated.

The Wellness center creates its own value from this innovation in several aspects. It provides services to its own. Employees/staff are provided with the same services as the community. This provides value by possessing healthy and active employees. In addition, the Wellness Center adopted the idea of being “a lean facility.” By being environmentally friendly, the Wellness Center saves on outflows and can put that money to a better use.
Wellness Center states “We challenge ourselves to provide innovative and personal solutions in everything we do.” The Wellness Center strives to provide society with a healthier lifestyle. The Wellness Center promotes healthy well-being for individuals of all ages. The Wellness Center is open to anyone in the community who is in need of their facility. Being each of the following: cardiovascular rehabilitation, health for diabetes, fitness center, imaging center, outpatient rehabilitation, spine center, sports medicine, and weight management, the Center welcomes all and can assist everyone with their personal needs.
As for the environment, Mr. Angela stated in an email to us “The Wellness Center uses the most environmentally friendly AVC systems, water conservation, and solar panels to operate the building.” therefore using this helps mineral waste is generated?? The Wellness Center can not only help the mind and body of people but also can be good for the environment.
