Summary

The top-quality dietary supplements in addition to free education and consultations offered by Finclub International, aids in the journey to a healthier life. Education is one of the main focuses of the company, not only education about health, but also education for the sales force under their MLM system. The MLM system enhances gender, age and race equality.

Innovation

Finclub company was established in Czech Republic in collaboration with a Finnish company specializing in natural, ecological food supplements. This collaboration between companies across countries is important for sustainable development and is a part of the UN SDGs goal 17, where these kinds of companies can emerge with shared visions and goals for the people and planet on a national and international level.

Finclub international created a non-profit organization called Finclub For Life which is a collaboration with Finclub Plus. The innovation aspect of these is to host seminars and programs in order to educate about healthy lifestyle choices and nutrition. Finclub international also encourages gender equality and provides programs that specifically target women to support them achieving their dream.

Education for Better Health

Inspiration

The idea of Finclub for life was born through the overflow of competent partners and the necessity to educate people in order for them to reach top health.

“Necessity is the mother of invention as they say, and this was very true in our case. We had this great team of medical personnel, willing to do great things, and customers and partners open to the possibilities of education, yet we were lacking the right structure.”

To fully make use of their resources Finclub International established Finclub for life, an organization focusing on giving free education and consultations to customers. The company believes that educating their customers and members will lead to a deeper understanding of one’s body, which would help these individuals to adjust their habits in order to lead a better, healthier life. As this system continues to gain popularity, it inspires the company to go further with the project.

Overall impact

The overall impact of the programs and seminars have helped inspired women and also others to achieve their dreams. By educating people on healthy lifestyle choices and nutrition, this encourages a positive attribute towards the mind and body. The programs and seminars also help bring awareness of diseases as 15% of the Czech Republic population suffer from osteoporosis and every 1 in 3 women suffer from the osteoporotic fractures at a certain point in their life. This could impact one’s life by identifying the early stages of fractures.

Business benefit

A key concept Finclub International focuses on is education within the company, in order to have knowledgeable employees. This establishes trust and confidence with the consumers for the products and company. The CEO, Tomasz Burawa said, “Since Finclub for life has been established, it proved to be a great success. Wherever we send our doctors and nurses for a seminar or a screening, the profit there doubles or even triples for a while.”

However, it is not only the company’s profits that have seen the benefits of this establishment. Finclub International has also gained a stronger brand recognition, much thanks to the free education and ethical bottom line of the company. This has built a loyal customer base and a positive outlook towards the business.

There is also a comfortable working environment built within Finclub International. This is a benefit as employees would be able to produce better results for the business and feel inspired within their workspace.

Social and environmental benefit

Jan Trojak, the founder of Finclub international believed that it is not necessary to do animal testing. Therefore, he strongly believed in the protection of animals. Finclub international does not collaborate with any supplier who encourages and uses animal testing. All of the suppliers of Finclub International guarantee, in writing that none of their products use animal testing. Furthermore, Finclub international strives to provide top quality products by using natural ingredients grown within ecological areas. Finclub International avoids using any pesticides in their crops as one of their main goals is to provide natural supplements. Pesticides are known to contain harmful chemicals such as telone II and methyl bromide which could contribute to diseases and damage such as cardiac arrest, cancer or damage to the nervous system.

Finclub International is striving to improve gender equality within Czech Republic by empowering women and girls. Even though unemployment is relatively low, women still struggle to find jobs in Czech Republic. The average customers are women between the ages of 35-50. Finclub International hosts different types of seminars, but some are directly targeted to women based on a business start-up or business with Finclub International. A great example that was discussed previously, in southern Bohemia, a group of women who have small businesses organize consultations and seminars to support one another to achieve their dreams.
