La innovación de esta mediana empresa es la arquitectura sustentable, reflejada en sus construcciones y mantenimiento de áreas, con materiales naturales y de bajo impacto ecológico, así como a través de tecnologías que puedan restaurar el ecosistema. Cabe mencionar que brinda asesorías y cursos presenciales y/o en línea en el área de arquitectura sustentable, así como tecnologías ecológicas en relación con la construcción. Su innovación está dirigida a la población en general y/o profesionales del área, ya que una finalidad es compartir el conocimiento y eliminar esas creencias erróneas que indica Mariana, comparte“ si me guardo este conocimiento, podré tener más beneficio económico” ,“no tendré competencia en lo que hago” o “me van a quitar el trabajo”. Por el contrario, Mariana menciona que “la recompensa económica viene si hacemos bien las cosas, …lo que debemos de buscar es que cuando se hagan este tipo de trabajos, en especial con el tema ambiental, que seamos más los que lo hacemos y que se haga bien”.

Actualmente, se han visto mejores resultados en los frutos de su trabajo, puesto que se ve reflejado el mayor interés tanto los que solicitan alguna construcción ecológica como las personas que quieren aprender en sus capacitaciones, queriendo pensar que es por mayor interés y concientización ecológica.

Al finalizar los estudios de Licenciatura, Mariana empezó a trabajar en un despacho donde el principal trabajo era la construcción con bambú, y donde también trabajaban con proyectos de techos y muros verdes, un poco con capacitaciones y otro con prueba-error ya que en ese tiempo (2005-2008), aún no se contaba con muchas fuentes o medios en México que pudieran brindarle la información necesaria para la construcción ecológica. Llegó un momento en que se constituyeron como Asociación Civil donde se trabajó con tecnologías ecológicas en comunidades marginadas, proporcionando una solución quienes no tienen la suficiente capacidad económica para pagar un arquitecto pero que también sufre de las mismas problemáticas ambientales y sociales. Posterior a esto, la Lic. Mariana Lozada decide separarse de este despacho para poder crear el suyo, con un perfil sustentable y es así como nace ENVERDE, iniciando ella sola con sus dificultades iniciales, puesto que eran pocos clientes. Conforme había más demanda, empezó a contratar a más gente.

Todo esto surgió a través de un propósito, “El propósito, que sería lo más fuerte es lograr hacer una arquitectura estética, funcional, respetuosa con el medio ambiente e innovadora, y también tratar de adaptarse a las necesidades y a lo que el cliente quiera” enfatiza Mariana.

Currently, better results have been seen in the fruits of their work since the most significant interest is reflected both by those who request an ecological construction and by people who want to learn through their training, wanting to think that it is for a greater interest and environmental awareness.

At the end of her undergraduate studies, Mariana began working in an office where the main job was bamboo construction, and where they also worked on green roof and wall projects, some with training and another with trial and error, since at that time (2005-2008), there were still not many sources or media in Mexico that could provide the necessary information for ecological construction. There came a time when they were constituted as a Civil Association where they worked with ecological technologies in marginalized communities, providing a solution for those who do not have enough economic capacity to pay for an architect but who also suffer from the same environmental and social problems. After this, Mariana Lozada decided to separate from this office to create her own with a sustainable profile. That is how EN VERDE was born, starting on her own with her initial difficulties since there were few clients. As there was more demand, she began to hire more people.

All this arose through a purpose, "The purpose, which would be the strongest, is to achieve an aesthetic, functional, environmentally friendly and innovative architecture, and also try to adapt to the needs and what the client wants," Mariana emphasizes.

Inspiration

La arquitectura sustentable es un área, que a la Arq. Mariana Lozada le apasiona y desde los periodos finales de su licenciatura estaba enfocada a irse por este camino, por lo que Mariana menciona que "Esto principalmente lo decidí, no tanto por la arquitectura sino que empecé a ser una parte muy consciente de ver toda la problemática ambiental y social que hay en el mundo y en México, el tema de escasez de agua, contaminación de ríos/suelos, falta de producción alimenticia, de conocimiento de producir alimentos, conocimiento del manejo de materiales naturales para la construcción, etc.; y todo lo que la construcción significa en la contaminación, ya que tiene un peso muy grande en la contaminación global por el tipo de materiales que ocupamos. Entonces al ver todo esto, y al hacer pequeños cambios en la casa como composta, y demás, noté que no era suficiente, y si lo quiero llevar a otro nivel, necesito que mi área laboral empiece a desarrollar otros sistemas constructivos más respetuosos con el medio ambiente y la sociedad”. Todo esto hizo que se enfocara a la arquitectura sustentable con la idea de que ENVERDE pudiera ser una alternativa que pudiera solucionar o mejorar las problemáticas ambientales a través de la construcción.

Sustainable architecture is an area that Mariana Lozada is passionate about, and in the final periods of her academic studies, she was focused on going down this path, for which Mariana mentions that "I mainly decided this, not so much for architecture but that I began to be a very conscious part of seeing all the environmental and social problems that exist in the world and in Mexico, the issue of water scarcity, river/soil contamination, lack of food production, knowledge of producing food and handling of natural materials for construction, etc., and everything that construction means in terms of pollution since it has a huge weight in global contamination due to the type of materials we use. Making small changes in the house, such as composting and so on, I noticed was not enough, and if I want to take it to another level, I need my work area to start developing other, more respectful construction systems. All this made her focus on sustainable architecture with the idea that EN VERDE could be an alternative that could solve or improve environmental problems through construction.

Overall impact

Al inicio había poca demanda por los clientes, y se creaban pequeños proyectos como los muros o techos verdes. A corto plazo se podría compartir este conocimiento en asesorías o capacitaciones y así abarcar a más personas y profesionales a que se inclinen por la construcción ecológica, por lo cual ha se han implementado más cursos con variedad de temas. Mariana nos comparte su opinión "...creo que es algo que se ha hecho desde hace muchos años y que ahora está retomando un poco de frutos, porque antes había menos interés tanto de clientes que querían una construcción ecológica como de gente que quería aprender, ahora afortunadamente ya hay más interés, puede ser por moda, pero me gusta pensar que lo hacen por necesidad y por conciencia ecológica".

Conforme han avanzado los años, se han tenido más solicitudes de personas para su vivienda, así como para áreas en específico para algunas empresas como restaurantes, o plantas industriales, solicitando los servicios dentro de Puebla como en otras ciudades fuera del Estado. Gracias a los medios digitales se ha podido difundir más el trabajo que se realiza publicando los proyectos y cursos que la empresa brinda.

Initially there were few clients, and small projects such as green walls or roofs were created. In the short term, this knowledge could be shared in consultancies or training and thus cover more people and professionals inclined towards ecological construction, for which more courses with various topics have been implemented. Mariana shares her opinion with us "...I think it is something that has been done for many years, and now it is reaping some fruit because before there was less interest from both clients who wanted an ecological construction and from people who wanted to learn. Now, fortunately, there is more interest. It may be because of fashion, but I like to think that they do it out of necessity and ecological awareness".

As the years have progressed, there have been more requests from people for their homes, as well as for specific areas for some companies such as restaurants, or industrial plants, requesting services within Puebla as well as in other cities outside the State. Thanks to digital media, it has been possible to disseminate the work carried out by publishing the company's projects and courses.

Business benefit

La empresa ha generado un ambiente laboral muy dinámico y de confianza en cada nuevo proyecto que demandan las personas o empresas, que poco a poco son mucho más. Todo esto debido a que se está poniendo un granito de arena al ayudar al medio ambiente porque se está consciente de que los materiales que se utilizan no alteran el equilibrio ambiental y con esto se puede generar ganancias económicas. "La comunicación dentro de nuestro negocio, la forma en la que llevamos la relación de respeto, y también de poder ser una opción en donde la gente que trabaja conmigo crezca, es algo que me encanta dentro de nuestro ambiente laboral" comenta Mariana.

Dependiendo del tipo de trabajo que se requiera, se necesita de un equipo de trabajadores que va desde 3 a 20, los cuales cumplen una función independiente pero importante para la elaboración de estos proyectos. Sin embargo, el trabajar con estos materiales naturales incluye mucho la participación de personas que quieran involucrase tanto de una propia comunidad como de otros profesionales en el área abriéndose así un campo nuevo para los trabajadores y albañiles, así como otros arquitectos en el uso de esta nueva forma de construcción materiales propios de la naturaleza. De esta forma, se crean nuevas oportunidades de empleo y contratación de nuevo personal, dispuesto a trabajar con nuevas propuestas de construcción ambientalistas.

"Communication within our business, how we maintain a respectful relationship, and being able to be an option where the people who work with me grow, is something that I love within our work environment," says Mariana.

Depending on the type of work required, a team of workers ranging from 3 to 20 is needed, which is an independent but important function for developing these projects. Social and environmental benefit

Como beneficio a la sociedad, se crea un intercambio de conocimientos a favor del medio ambiente dentro de México y fuera del país, teniendo como la conexión las plantas, agua, tierra, es decir el ecosistema. De igual manera, el enriquecimiento de experiencias al conocer estas personas mientras se trabaja con estos recursos naturales lo cual genera una unión y consentimiento social, creando una energía positiva en los cursos y las construcciones sustentables.

Para el medio ambiente, se ve reflejada la disminución de contaminación en áreas verdes, el desarrollo de conocimiento y habilidades que beneficien el respeto al ecosistema, así como generar un cambio en las formas de construcción sustentable que incluso son tradicionales y que se habían manejado desde hace ya unos años en otros países, pero por cuestiones de rapidez o por la facilidad de hacerlo se ha perdido el interés, por lo que deseamos retomar estas medidas para poder regenerar el estado en el que tenemos el medio ambiente que es nuestra casa principal y debemos saber cuidarla.

Mariana nos comparte uno de sus anhelos, "Me gustaría despertar en un México más respetuoso con el medio ambiente, pero sobre todo con su misma sociedad, en el que veamos que las diferentes clases culturales y sociales se reconozcan y nos respetemos unos a otros. Y también donde cada vez logremos más ambientes de igualdad generando un giro que vaya con la congruencia del ser humano. En el ambiente laboral me gustaría ser más exitosa, no sólo en lo económico sino en poder llevar este negocio de una forma más sabía junto con el personal que trabaja conmigo y poder aportar también para ellos personal y profesionalmente".

Still, for reasons of speed or the ease of doing it, interest has been lost, so we want to resume these measures to be able to regenerate the state in which we have the environment, which is our primary home, and We must learn how to take care of it.

Mariana shares one of her dreams with us, "I would like to wake up in a Mexico that is more respectful of the environment, but above all within its society, in which we see that the different cultural and social classes recognize each other and respect each other. And also where each time we achieve more environments of equality, generating a turn that goes with the unity among human beings. In the work environment, I would like to be more successful, not only economically but in being able to run this business more knowledgeably together with the staff that works with me and also be able to contribute to them personally and professionally".
