Not many people who know exactly what technology advances technically, but the benefits are very easy to feel. For example, when you are queuing up at the bank. How long do you have to line up? This problem can be solved only when the IT embedded system (an information technology system applied to a particular problem) queued automatically. People can’t cheat, because officers will only serve those who carry the queue number.

Newtronic Solution build Intelligent Queuing System (iQue) to solve the problem. Later, they do not just build iQue ordered by the customers, but also develop the exchange rate display called Intelligent Kurs (iKurs), digital signage, cctv online, megatron, wired alarm, and wireless alarm system.

Inspiration

Theo was born in Pati, Central of Java on 1983. Since childhood he has chosen everything related to the electronics and information technology as a hobby. During college, he joined in Kelompok Pecinta Elektro and began to pursue the field of embedded systems.

The business opportunity in that area is promising. It requires creativity in generating automated products, so this is not an easy business to imitate. And, the development of the world today is need of various electronic facilities that can all be provided through embedded systems.

But before establishing himself to build a business engaged in technology, he worked as a promotional manager in a factory outlet in Bandung. Although the work was only temporary, but from the boss, he learned a lot enough to build his own business.

The golden opportunity came when one of the airline's branch offices in Bandung asked Theo to create an automated queue system to discipline and simplify their work. For three months he was challenged to design a queue system that fits the client's needs. He did overtime to do research, design, and trials. A lot of new technical and non-technical things he learned at the time. The biggest challenge is answering client complaints that often occur because the products are still not perfect and many shortcomings here and there.

It was needed two months to make product improvements as well as to answer client complaints. After the initial product satisfies the client, then CV Newtronic Solution was established in 2008.

Overall impact

The determination and concept to make its clients smile through products that provide added value and appropriately to the client's business is already the vision of Theo and Joseph. Backed by an appropriate educational background, it is not too difficult for them to design and provide high-tech products to provide convenience and automation in various fields. Their queuing system provides the convenience and convenience of managing line grooves in offices, especially banking or aviation, CCTV Online provides access to view the recorded events, can also be monitored online for a leader when he wants to see the office conditions wherever he located, or Megatron that allows clients to advertise their products to audiences through dynamic visuals with high prestige.

Business benefit

Together with his partner, Joseph Stephanus Aditamaputra, he founded CV Newtronic Solution in 2008 with a capital of Rp 50 million. This business is very promising, because only three years running, the omzet already reached three to five billion rupiah per year with a profit of Rp 700 million-1.2 billion. Theo, the nickname of Surya, felt that the science he obtained at the Electrical Engineering Faculty ITB-he graduated in 2006-strongly supported his interest in the world of technology and his desire to make life easier.

From just hiring a staff to help with things, now, since their products and services already well-known, Theo and Joseph employed twenty full-time employees and five non-permanent employees. The product was not only a queue system, but has developed into the exchange rate display, cctv online, alarm system, and megatron.

Social and environmental benefit

One of Theo's business skills to build a business in a short time is his strong product knowledge. He is well aware that his business was unique enough with a large market share. Although most of his clients are banking, he believes that as time goes by, any company or business-related field of customer service will need its queue system product. Therefore, he is actively doing riser activities to improve his products and services, He always emphasizes that we must always create something new and produce something great, not just good.

After-sales service is also one of the success of the business. Electronic goods which are sold, there will be time to fail system, whatever the cause. That's why he have to keep together with clients to provide the best service. He always prioritize the relationship with both clients and employees themselves.

He considers that the basic ingredients of his business is the strength of his engineering team in designing and programming embedded systems to create a stable product.

In his view, employees are a blessing, so he must provide good service to them. Thus, in his office applied elements of professionalism, maturity, and mutual care. Every week there is always a lunch time with at least one time. Every month is also always cultivated to play futsal together. Every year, there is always a gathering with the entire family of employees. Healthcare services and Jamsostek savings are also provided. These things make employee turnover in the office very low.
