Hydroxy System uses its proprietary technology to convert difficult-to-recycle waste plastics into high-grade fuels composed of diesel, petrol, and kerosene.
It helps to solve SDG 7 goal of offering affordable energy sources and it also helps to solve SDG 13 goal of combating climate action by recycling plastic wastes.
Hydroxy System uses its proprietary technology to convert difficult-to-recycle waste plastics into high-grade fuels composed of diesel, petrol, and kerosene.
Hydroxy Systems indigenously developed technology heats plastic in a kiln using electricity, consequently negating the need for fossil fuels and overcoming the barrier of plastic being a poor conductor of heat, sublimating the plastic into a gaseous state which is then condensed and distilled in ani-line distillation process into automotive-grade Diesel, Petrol and Kerosene, through a process of plastic de-polymerization.
The technology used has been given the nomenclature -“Non-Pyrolytic, Non-Catalytic De-Polymerization technology” and uses patent-pending algorithms to handle different kinds of plastic at one go. It helps to solve SDG 7 goal of offering affordable energy sources and it also helps to solve SDG 13 goal of combating climate action by recycling plastic wastes.

Long term Effects are:
Around 275 million tonnes of plastic waste is generated each year around the world and out of which between 4.8 million and 12.7 million tonnes are dumped into the sea. Polluting the chains of the ecosystem. Until and unless we can replace Plastic from the equation, we need alternatives to reduce and reuse this very thing. Plastic pollution is a design, production, consumption, and disposal challenge that must be tackled across plastic’s entire lifecycle. Island nations typically do not have the infrastructure to make recycling economical, nor the technical support to develop measures to reduce the use of plastics in the first place. Hydroxy Systems has already started working towards the solution. It uses its technology to convert waste plastic into Usable fuel products which can be used in a variety of vehicles and machinery. This Innovation is a breakthrough for recycling plastic products. And as it helps in getting the ecosystem right back on track by reducing waste plastic over the world, it will be sustainable in long run as well. This innovation is safe and sound, hence we can expect it to be sustainable in the long run. As it is a global issue we can also say that the firm will expand beyond India as well.
A Hyderabad-based energy production company has developed a patent-pending technology to convert plastic waste into usable automotive-grade fuels in a truly and completely environmentally friendly process thus reducing pollution. We are convinced that a combination of technology, innovation, and determination can make a true difference in the world we live in today.
The process involves no chimney, proof to the fact that there would be no gaseous effluents left into the air and the little amounts of methane (around 2%) produced during the process is used up by the generator which produces electricity used in heating the plastic.
The oils that are generated as a result can be used in any diesel engines, trucks, buses, trains, heavy equipment, and generators with no engine modification. Our designs are 100% indigenous, zero pollution and zero waste, plastic waste vanishing plants. They are committed to building a company dedicated to a greener, cleaner future for the planet.
