Inspiration

After working for 20 years in the corporate sector and managing some of the biggest brands and projects he felt the need to revisit the theory and practice of human behaviour which led him to understand the insufficiencies of conventional human behaviour theories and frameworks and hence pioneered the practice of behaviour architecture.

Overall impact

The overall novel approach to change in behaviour led to a situation where the company was able to make an impact both on the economic as well as the well being of people

  • Railway: Reduction of accidental deaths on railway lines up to 75%
  • Road: Managed to reduce road fatalities by 56% and accidents by 43% for a period of 1yr compared to the previous year
  • Child Trafficking: Shifting the demand and supply curves simultaneously to provide relief across villages in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal
  • Urban Sanitation: Disgust removing interventions were prioritized by the community. Lottery incentivized children to try toilets putting the wheels in motion
  • Rural Sanitation: Villagers reported reduction in uncertainty. Increased adoption in 27 of the 35 toilets targeted for intervention
