Danhostel has 40 guest rooms and 170 beds, and it is located in Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark near Wadden Sea National Park. The park was added to UNESCO World Heritage site list in June, 2014. Since 1997, Danhostel Ribe has been the only environmentally certified accommodation in Ribe. Mr Jens Philipsen and his wife, Mrs Gudrun Rishede who manage and run the hostel are very passionate about what they are doing at Danhostel.
